Tapas Best Chiringuito 2026 in Tenerife now has a stop on Playa de Troya. Bésame Mucho has been recognised by Tapas Magazine as part of this selection, which shines a light on restaurants where the cooking, the produce and the seafront setting have something to say.
For us, this recognition is a way of celebrating what we are: a rice restaurant, seafood house and grill in Costa Adeje, set within the iconic surroundings of Monkey Beach Club, with a menu built around fresh produce, table-served rice dishes and paellas, fish, seafood and chargrilled cooking.

A recognition for Bésame Mucho on Playa de Troya
Bésame Mucho sits right on Playa de Troya, with the Atlantic very much part of the view from the dining room. The location adds a lot, of course, but the menu carries just as much weight: rice dishes and paellas made with Molino Roca rice, fresh fish that goes straight from the display case to the Josper grill, chargrilled seafood and dishes built on Canarian produce.
This recognition from Tapas Magazine reinforces that way of understanding the restaurant: good raw ingredients, contemporary cooking and an experience that works really well in Costa Adeje, both for those who come for lunch and those who book a table for dinner by the sea.

Rice dishes, paellas and the grill
At Bésame Mucho, rice dishes and paellas are a key part of the menu. They are served at the table and include recipes such as the house special rice with squid, carabinero prawn rice or black rice with cuttlefish and fried baby squid.
The grill also takes centre stage. The fish from the display lets you choose the catch of the day and enjoy it whole, cooked in the Josper. Other highlights include the grilled fish loin and the tuna fillet with romesco sauce.
On top of that come the smoked peto marinated in palm honey with fried Teide almonds, the anchovies on organic butter and wood-fired toast, the squid in sauce and the Canarian-style octopus.

Rice dishes are served at the table. As it should be.
